Reina may have been wandering through a snowy forest for days before getting to enjoy this creamy soup, but you're welcome to have it any time!

Because it's only fair that the Olympian known for his love of certain beverages has his own special recipe...
And it's only right that said beverage is just as sweet and lovely as he is!

This recipe is one of the treats Ember tries at the Turning Ball... and was definitely one of the hardest recipes for me to figure out. I'll admit, it's still not entirely book accurate... but I don't think I'd like it as much if it was, so we'll take that as a win. Based on the recipe for Japanese kohakutou, these treats are sweet, tart, and have a uniquely satisfying texture.

The muffin itself, of course is not aggressive. It's just that Bonnie was being aggressive when she ate this in the book, and I had no other way to describe it. The muffin is actually quite pleasant.

Full disclosure: this is not quail because I have never cooked a quail before and honestly I don't intend to do that. It's just chicken. But it is delicious and may have secured its spot as my new favorite book recipe that I've made.

If I'm being completely honest, I spent most of the time developing this recipe kicking my past self for describing these as flower-shaped because that really complicated things. But regardless of what shape they're in, they are still a delicious combination of sweet, peppery, and rich flavor all nestled in a buttery crust!

This is literally just melty cheese inside of flaky, buttery pastry. So... you really can't get much better. Also they're called cheese horns because they're supposed to look like unicorn horns, but does the shape really matter? Not particularly.
